Nexxus Color Assure Color Vibrancy - Hair That MOVES!

I was recently sent a full size sample of Nexxus Color Assure pre-wash primer, rebalancing shampoo and restoring conditioner, compliments of Influenster, in exchange for my honest opinion of this product line.  I have been using these products for 2 weeks now and am LOVING the way my hair looks and feels.  I first use the Nexxus pre-wash primer and then this shampoo and my hair feels so silky and soft before I even use the conditioner. I love that the product line is silicone and sulfate free and replenishes each strand of hair from within, leaving my hair easy to manage. I also LOVE the smell of this product (White Orchid) - it smells so clean and fresh! I love that all the time and money spent coloring my hair is protected with this product - my hair has never felt more vibrant! #HairThatMoves

Loaded Alexia Rosemary Fries

Influenster was kind enough to send me a coupon for one free Alexia food item.  At the grocery store, I decided to try their organic French Fries and use them in a delicious recipe at home.  I started by putting them in the oven as directed.  When they were 10 minutes from being finished cooking, I scattered some cooked pulled pork on top.  Meanwhile, I cooked 1 cup frozen corn, 1/2 a can of black beans, 1/2 sliced red onion and 2 Tbs. olive oil in a skillet for about 10 minutes.  I then spooned the mixture on top of the french fry/pulled pork combination and topped with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.  Put in oven for 5 minutes longer to melt the cheese and then topped with fresh cilantro, sliced black olives and avocado.  Lastly, I drizzled the loaded fries with Bolthouse Farms Cilantro Avocado Yogurt Dressing.  The dinner was DELICIOUS! Chocolate Chip Caramel Walnut Cookies

I was recently sent a free package to sample of Werther's Original Soft Caramels through Influenster.  I was very excited to try them as I have always been a fan of the Werther's Original candies.  The soft caramels are DELICIOUS on their own - creamy and melt in your mouth!  Plus, they come in individual, small wrappers which are nice and easy to take on-the-go.  My kids and I decided to taste test one right away and then I went to baking in the kitchen.

I decided to make chocolate chip cookies (my grandmother's recipe, but you could make it easier by using a pre-mix from the grocery store).  I cut each caramel into thirds and added it to the mix along with walnuts.  The creation was so yummy!  My kids requested that I make them again tomorrow!  #MyWerthers #contest @Influenster

 

BetterBody Foods - Get Fit Party

Rosatello Wine Sweet Escape House Party

I was recently selected to host a House Party featuring Rosatello wine on Halloween night.  It was so much fun!  Our group had the chance to sample Rosatello Rosso Red, Rosatello Moscato and Rosatello Sparkling Rosé. 

 Each variety had a great flavor - crisp, sweet and refreshing!  The wines complimented the food perfectly and was a nice treat for the adults!

Making Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cupcake / Cookie Toppers

I was recently sent a box of various colored Airheads, Airheads bites and Airheads Xtremes, compliments of Smiley360, with the challenge of creating a unique candy creation.  Since my two little boys LOVE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I decided to make toppers for our Halloween cupcakes and cookies.  I started by cutting out the head for the turtle:

Next, I cut the mask:

The mask can be applied to the head by gently pressing the two together. 

Eyeballs can be affixed in the same manner.

 Next, I cut the mouth using a white Airhead and then applied black cookie icing to it.
Alternatively, you could use a food-safe gel pen or icing writer to make the same effect.

 

Gently press onto the face to apply.

Lastly, I cut a tongue using a red Airhead and gently pressed it onto the mouth.

Done!  And I had just enough green Airheads to make two more:
